Photography is a magical mechanism, giving us the ability to freeze time. The photographs we view therefore become our ticket on a journey back in time, enabling us to become virtual time travelers. We are able to experience a time and place in the past, through the lens of the camera. The images captured and displayed take us to both places we have been, and places we wish we could go, or return. What I hope to offer with my photos is not just a snapshot of history, but a snapshot embedded with a soundtrack of the place and time of the event. I only hope the images allow you to experience the full spectrum of emotion within you, the full spectrum I felt while capturing them myself.
